Who We Are

Gavin Selway – Co-Founder & Director

Business Bio

My career began in 2010 after graduating from university, working on capital infrastructure and operations projects at Network Rail, Hastings Direct, and McLaren Automotive. I became a Chartered Management Accountant in 2014, spending years translating complex data into commercial decisions across multi-million-pound budgets and director-level strategy.

But eventually, I wanted to build something of my own.

After founding GS Business Consultancy, and later Horizon Business Growth Consultancy, I began working directly with UK startups – writing business plans, building forecasts, and helping founders bring their ideas to life.

Pete Wilson – Co-Founder & Director

Business Bio

My career took a winding path after graduating with a degree in politics — from retail to a range of roles across companies big and small. I explored different sectors, never quite settling until I leaned into my entrepreneurial instincts and launched Bedlam Golf, an e-commerce brand selling alternative golf apparel. The business found early success, but after its closure, I discovered something more lasting: a passion for helping others bring their own ventures to life.

Through freelance work with Start Up Loans, and my own venture Start-Up Box, I supported dozens of fledgling founders across industries. But it wasn’t until I met a kindred spirit in Mr. Selway that something bigger began to take shape.

Our Journey Together

That led to The Biz Plan (2019-2021) – an ambitious attempt to automate the entire business planning and forecasting process. It was clever in theory, but not commercially viable. Still, the learnings laid the groundwork for everything that followed.

In late 2021, we launched Carebox, supporting thousands of clients with compliance, branding, registration, and startup support for care businesses. We passed £1m in revenue – but our internal systems were messy, and the automation didn’t hold up under pressure.

So we stepped back. We closed the loop. And we’ve rebuilt from scratch.

RegiCare isn’t a rebrand – it’s a reset. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned over the past decade and created a new kind of service: one that blends smart automation and AI with strong human relationships and clear customer journeys. We’re focused on better results, faster execution, and a radically improved experience for every care business we support.

Beyond the Business

Gavin’s World

I was an elite athlete from age 16 to 23, representing British universities internationally. These days I’m still strong in the gym, still hungry to grow (and actively trying to avoid breaking).

I’m into loud engines – V8s, V10s, V12s – especially naturally aspirated ones. Cars aren’t just a hobby, they’re a deep part of who I am. I love machines with character.

Music matters too – anything with groove, emotion, or rhythm you can actually move to. I’m into meaningful tech, freedom-focused systems, and yes… still find time for a bit of Warhammer when no one’s watching.

While I’ve always been highly logical and analytical, my emotional and spiritual side has grown stronger over time. I appreciate animals more than I used to, crave sunshine and fresh air, and I’m doing my best to build something that supports life – not just work.

More than anything, I want to see more of the world (and help others do that too 😊) – and not from behind a desk.

Pete’s Life

As a father of two and husband of one, life outside of work is always busy. I’m lucky to live in the Surrey countryside and love sharing relaxed, happy times with family and friends. I’ve always loved sport – with golf being the main love (and frustration!) and I enjoy coaching my son’s football team and staying active whenever I can.

When I’m not outdoors, I’m usually in the kitchen. Cooking is a real creative outlet for me – I enjoy experimenting, feeding people, and turning simple ingredients into something worth sharing. I’ve got an addictions to cryptic crosswords, a decent book, and the occasional trashy horror film (the worse the reviews, the better).

In recent years, circumstances have led me to take real value in all the little things. I try to start and end each day with a smile, and to laugh as much as possible. I’m proud of the personal resilience and strength I have developed, I’m driven by the idea of sharing this in a meaningful way with whoever I meet.
